Join Bandleader Tommy Jackson as the Reeves House Band takes on a new exciting show every month. Past show themes include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Grand Ole Opry, The Band’s “The Last Waltz,” and more!
The Martha Bassett Show
The Reeves is proud to partner with The Martha Bassett Show to bring you good music for good people! Tickets available now for this season’s shows, every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Catch the show on 88.5 WFDD every Saturday at 7 PM, and online via their livestream performances.
Free Music Wednesdays: Open Mic, Karaoke, and Songwriter Night!
Join us every Wednesday (except major holidays) for a free music. On the first (and occasional fourth) Wednesday, our regular open mic has sign-up at 6:30, show at 7. Covers and originals are welcome. The second Wednesday of the month is Band Night, where we provide the back line and bands get a chance to perform a few songs on our stage. We try to keep these shows PG-13, so please feel free to ask the host at sign-up if you have any questions about your material. We also have Karaoke on the third Wednesdays, also at 7.
One Wednesday per month is now the Reeves Open Mic Songwriter Night, and twice a year the winners of each songwriter night compete in the Songwriter Showcase for a chance to win a spot on The Martha Bassett Show! You can sign up for each month’s songwriter night until one week before the show, and twelve people will be randomly selected from those who sign up. Original songs only.
Joe Thrift & Friends Old-Time Jam
Join us in the lobby every fourth Thursday of the month (except major holidays) for an Old-Time Jam. Primarily focused on Surry County and other NC Old-Time traditional music, this jam is all-ages and free to watch or play. Jam starts around 5:30 PM, and is hosted by Joe Thrift and his colleagues and friends.
